fireworks!!

hurhur... i played with fireworks today!!! and sparklers too!! muahahahaha....nice nice. though it wasn't those big ones it's fun. heeeeeeeee. sat's bonfire night. lotsa fireworks and bonfire. =) hope i can go see. haha. there's one at wythenshawe park and another at heaton park. hmmmm... fri's at platfields. nearer to where i'm staying. but there's pp on fri. hmmmmmm.....

hard to capture it on cam. ah well. at least can see the sparklers. the fireworks, couldn't see much. try again nxt time when there's more. ^^

anw one of the snrs caught chicken pox!! i better not get it a 2nd time. hope no one else catches it.

gerbera daisy

what my jiemeis got me. so sweet of them =) thanks a lot. heeee.

it's pretty. haha. wahhhh.... i feel so loved. it's a gerbera daisy. well at least i think it is. haha. it really brightens up my day. =D hope it can last quite long... anyone knows how to not let it die so fast?? *grin*

winter's here

time's been shifted back an hr~ muahahah.... extra hr to slp. heez. anw this signifies the start of winter. hmmm.... still dosen't look really wintery. ah well... it'll come soon. apparently it's gg to be the coldest winter in i duno how many years. snow snow snow!!

we had another sssm activity yest. social gathering at k's place. the 3 of them moved into private accommodation. pretty nice place they've got. 3 story house with garden. =) nice nice. haha. i like to sit on the corner stairs. heez. it wasn't that fun, but it was pretty gd. saw a lot of erm new faces. quite a lot of the malaysians, indonesians, taiwanese? pple went to. and those snr snr snr. well, we only stuck to the direct snrs and those we already knew. hahaaa. not much of a social thingie.

another thing here's don't let pple know ur birthdays! n don't let them know u can drink. or else they'll make u into a merlion. witness one yest there. so many pple will come to congratulate u wif a drink. they made the concoction themselves, so it's deadly!! haa. make urs super strong and theirs, well not so strong lo. vodka+ soda and well soft drinks i think. eeeeks. poor zj. when we were walking home he couldn't even walk straight. couldn't help him drink even though he pulled me. actually i didn't know what he wanted to do until tracy said this one underage. too young. haha..well not exactly underage but haha... it was too lethal. i'll end up drunk. bleah.

was quite tired yest. due to previous night moberly and well everything lah. so i slpt really early yest. at 12am. haaaa....

Wythenshawe Hospital

Back frm my EE at Wythenshawe Hospital. It's quite a nice place actually. far away farm the city. hurhur, i like those little towns. hmmm i think it's not in a little town but yah.. i prefer areas out of the city. =)

had a tour of the hospital. pretty much the same as wat u have in spore. except it looks erm, not that nice. looks kinda old and the well, different in some ways. they have the kitchen area in the ward too. smells so nice the food. haha. *drools* did treasure hunt there too. haha. no prizes though.

today's the WETTEST day ever since i got to uk. man, it really rained!! like what you get in s'pore. which is really rare around here. my whole trouser legs was wet! n standing out in the cold freezing, waiting for that bus back to manchester. so many was gg to stockport. stood in the cold, with the wind and rain for well probably 30-40min. so cold my fingers were numb and i can't txt on the bus. heeeez. by the time i got near asda, the sky was dark and couldn't really see the puddles of water. so i stepped into one and just kept stepping into the rest. hurhur. since i'm already wet might as well. =)

now i'm bored again. sigh. can't seem to do anything. i can't even sit down to watch movie.i can't nap. bleah!!! i guess i'll just have to go do work den. ahhhh... haha. werid sia.

hopspital visit!!

got a looooong full day. started at 9. gg for lect in 15min time. 2hr lect den heading straight to hospital.
bleah. no time for lunch. the measly 1 hr break btw lect and hospital visit's not enough for travelling there. think we'll have to leave lect early. boooooooo. no lunchhhh!!! i'm getting so hungry these days. bah. i'm pathetic. eating biscuits for lunch, and a cereal bar. =(
i wan to eat junk food. but sigh. cannot. i'm really gg to get sooo fat at this rate. boooooooo. sigh. n the hospital visit just screwed up my gym timetable. soooo rare i actually make an effort to go. haha. nvm. shall see wat i can do tm~

nxt tue i'm having GP placements. same thing again. no lunch!!! ahhhhhhhhh!!! ah well.

anw i've realised that studying too much here causes depression. i think the depression i got on sun was frm studying too much. cos after that, i slacked the whole night off and on mon too until 3pm. basically mon i just watched movies and slpt. theraputic. =) and i'm glad that soooo far away frm spore, i still have this bunch of sg pple here. really nice guys. i think i have more sg frens den brits here. hah. i'm anti-social. =s

n i'm quite sure i have more guy frens than girls. hmmmm...

ah yes, i like to walk on the streets / sit in the old at night. so nice. heeee.... but pple think that's madness to sit outside n freeze ur butt off. u guys shuld try it if u ever visit some cold country. i'm loving the weather!! i actually walked out at night wif my fbts. heh heh.

i'm feeling damn lousy. i don't know why. maybe cos i studied so much. well not a lot. but i woke up at 10am. finally got down to change the bedsheets. studied since then till afternoon. hmmm.. come to think of it it's not that long. did study last night till 330am. but oh well. i'm feeling really sucky.

had a walk in the evening. felt a bit better. but it just all came back when i came home. arghhhhhhh. thanks to the guys for trying to cheer me up. =)
but yah i still feel sucky. it's not u all. it's me!! n the damn sch work.

busy busy busy

1st day of proper lesson's enough to kill.

anat was really bad. those terms just zoomed in and out of my head. came out of class knowing as much as i did b4 i went in. shucks. i'm sooo dead.
pbl's just as bad. man, there's so much stuff to do!! no more lazy days. actually i still do have free time. just need self discipline to get work done. sigh.
since i have so much work to do, i slp late everyday. and to keep awake, i'm eating chocolates like nobody's business. =p
i'll be so fat by the end of the wk. fat fat fat!!! argh!!

n i got a blood test done again. bleah. but i got a cute sticker wif a lion on it that says, Today at the doctors' i was as brave as a lion. =p haha.
cute?? haha. i think i'm the only childish one who took it.

ooooh oh i only slpt for bout 10min for a 2hr lect. =) well mayb partly cos the 1st one lasted half hr and i got to go out to get hot choc and the 2nd one ended early as well. but still great achievement on my part. =) normally i might have just slpt thru both, waking up in btw for breaks and to go home. heez.

last day of my slack slack timetable. boo hoo hoo.
well not that my confirmed timetable's that packed, but there's lotsa work to do. and i'm already behind time. crap. the lousy cheapo printer's kind of bad too. sigh. i just cant get myself to go print. the credits cost so much and i have a lot to print. bleah. they shuld just give me the booklet man. oh well.

hmmm... went to the gym AND to swim today. haha. sounds like i'm so hardworking rite. but actually we just went to play around. sigh and to think i ate so much today!! not like i don't for the other days. sigh sigh. i ate 2 ice creams yest lei... so late somemore. boooooo. i'm gg to get sooo fat no one's gg to recognise me when i go back. =(
watched my fair lady yest too. 1st play in manchester. it's pretty good =) except the girl infront had quite a huge head that blocked my view. haha.

bought the choc wif coffee bean in it. it helps me to stay awake in class! it works. haha. but i chose to sleep today cos it was so terribly boring and i can't wait to get out of class. heez. terrible me. but oh well.

didsbury + northerden

went to explore the little towns near the uni. bout 15min bus ride to the owens park direction, away from the city centre. nothing much actually, just not so city like. pretty nice actually. there's this nice river too. =) walked from didsbury to northerden along that river. not much pics taken in didsbury.

well for anat class today. we didn't do dissection. awww... anw this wat what i got out of the class.

yup. that's what we did. drew on each other's hands. haha. it's just the areas where each nerve controls the sensory stuff. =)

dissection starts proper nxt fri! haha. duno what to think of it now. i just hope it dosen't stink that much. i like anatomy!

okie... den after anatomy class( ended 45min earlier), we went to play badminton at sugden. hehe. 5-6. quite fun actually. cos we ended playing 3 a side with 2 shuttlecocks. haha. the guys can really hit hard lo. no matter how hard i hit the shuttlecock still fly so slow n near one. sigh. depressing. after that we went back, had dinner and went back to sugden for pp! 8-9pm. pp session was hilarious. i think the pro pple are think we're nuts and we're gg to get kicked out of it soon. hee. but it's fun!! cos there're more of us there. hhaa. but anyway after pp session we went for movie. even more pple came. but we're still using the free tic so yay.. free movie. but the show wasn't that great. in fact i didn't really like it. tot it was funny... but didn't appear so lei. i didn't really laugh watching it. deuce bigalow show. not nice. don't watch it. hee. after movie we went back to moberly for more pp! haha. but the china pple were there for quite some time. i tried my hand at playing darts. wasn't that bad. quite easy to hit the board. last time i played at my cousins' the darts would just fall off the board. damn embarrasing. after that was bridge. until it was quite tiring. haha. waited so long for pp yest. but it was fun. den i tried to play pool too! zj was teaching. i think i'm kind of hopeless with this kind of games. haha. but it got better as we played more.

we stopped playing at 8am plus this morning. =S i dunno why we stayed so long!! gdness. den went straight to asda to get groceries. came back at bout 10 plus. showered and went to slp till 1330. =) i shall try to not get into this kind of situation anymore. haha. although i think there's more to come actually. hope there's no more 通宵 pp. bad to impose on pple. anw gtg mug now.

finally got my meningitis and mmr jab today. my arm's sore now. sigh. so fast sore liao. still got gym induction this sat. haha. i can have excuses now. oh well. i'm uttering rubbis.

today or rather yesterday's trip to cheshire oaks' quite fun actually. although it's suppose to be a shopping trip, me being poor can't buy much stuff and it's all like branded goods, i didn't do much shopping and the guys were shocked. how can a girl not buy much stuff there?? haha.
cheshire oak's like this huge place that sells cheaper branded stuff. it's quite a big place with quite a lot of shops. the shops are surrounding this big car park. oh and i saw rainbow!! both on the way there and when we were about to go home.

went along with hmm.... 4 of them. weave in and out of shops. mostly looked at guys stuff cos well, they are all guys. and eric was the one in need to winter clothes. i've pretty much got quite a lot already. it's quite fun too. cos zj bought this 50p kite/aeroplane thingie and we went to fly it there. it was a time to relive our childhood days. or rather their childhood days. i still go kite flying. =p as usual i laughed a lot. the aeroplane thing had streamers attatched on it's tail. but it's so long the guys cut it off. and tied on pple's bags and on zj's jeans so that he looked like he has got a colourful tail. pity none of us brought cameras. sigh. lunch was at the foodcourt. on thing bout foodcourt around here's that they all sell fast food. nothing like spore's. so yah... one look at the food and my appitite's gone. haha. but still had fish n chips. 1st one in uk. it's not that bad except it's damn oily and i can't finish my food. shuld haf ordered kids meal lo. clifford ordered 2 kids meal, was cheaper den ours and got 2 drinks. drinks are of the same size for kids meal and the adults meal. i dunno why. haha. lunch talk was interesting too. bout dissection, psychos, shrimps, fish etc.

had dinner at china city with the snrs and a few of us freshers. wasn't too bad, except there's so much food. duck, chicken, fish, beef, veg and toufu. haha. a lot rite?? den went to moberly for the october babies bdae celebration. we went to moberly yest too. haha. for pingpong. the whitworth park pple always stay back late cos we want to play pingpong. so it's 2 straigh nights of pingpong and little bit of bridge. played heart attack and murderer. murderer was fun too. played the winking one at 1st. but den realised some pple couldn't wink so when they are murderer, they either can't kill or it's just gets too obvious. so we changed to the squeezing hand thing. we all look like we're doing mass prayers or smth. lol.

was great fun. these two days. so fun-filled and busy that i've accumulated lotsa stuff to do. no1 on the list is grocery shopping and laundry. i'm running out of clothes. =s another thing is of course sch work lo. i'm feeling like sch's not started lo. sigh. but i'm having the time of my life now. haha. pretty sure bout that when i'm with the singsoc pple. =)
